The Janome Sewist 740DC gives you fully computerised sewing with 40 pre-programmed stitches, including 3 different fully automatic buttonholes. The LCD display with backlight makes it easy to see which stitch you've chosen as well as the stitch width and length, which are fully adjustable. Stitch Elongation (up to 5 times) means you can alter the look of some decorative stitches to suit your project.

Easy set bobbin, top-loading, full rotary hook system eliminates the need for a removable bobbin case. 820 stitches per minute allows extra needle penetration power of the Sewist 740DC lets you sew across heavier fabrics & multiple layers. Adjustable foot pressure - 6 Levels - means you can fine tune the feeding to suit your fabric. The extension table also detaches for free-arm sewing. This machine also features a seven piece feed mechanism, a drop feed facility, automatic needle threader and a slide speed control.
