Since our establishment in 2010, Brighton Sewing Centre has been a trusted destination for quality sewing machines, originally located in the North Laines of Brighton. For the past 15 years, we have dedicated ourselves to offering a carefully curated selection of Janome, Brother, and Bernina machines. Our commitment extends beyond just selling machines; we focus on fostering a community of passionate creators. Whether you’re in search of a new sewing machine, embroidery machine, or overlocker, our knowledgeable team is here to guide you to the perfect choice. While our recent emphasis has been on sewing machines, we previously offered a variety of fabrics and haberdashery that added a touch of creativity to our offerings.

Plan your visit to see Sewing machines: we’re open Tuesday to Thursday for classes and appointments, and Fridays 10am to 1.30pm and Saturdays 10am - 3pm for drop-ins and relaxed browsing. To avoid disappointment, we recommend calling ahead if you’re interested in seeing specific sewing machines. This way, we can confirm their availability and ensure your visit is worthwhile.

Tuesday - Thursday teaching schedule: 10:00 - 15:30

Friday: 10am - 1.30pm Drop in browsing
